Vinicius Jr Extends Apology to Los Blancos Supporters
The forward has registered five goals in ten La Liga outings so far this term.
The Madrid giants forward Vinicius Jr has apologised to supporters for his reaction when taken off in the recent fiery Clasico clash win.
The Brazilian was substituted in the 72nd min and showed his annoyance by going straight off the pitch.
The Brazilian eventually reappeared to the sidelines and, following his team's 2-1 win, tried to confront the opposition's opposing player during unpleasant post-match scenes.
"This day I want to express regret to all the Real Madrid fans for my response when I was substituted in the Clasico," Vinicius posted on X.
"Just as I have already done during the latest training, I also want to apologise again to my colleagues, the organization, and the leadership.
"Occasionally fervor overcomes me because I constantly desire to win and help my club. My winning mentality originates in the passion I feel for this institution and each thing it symbolizes."
The player signed for Madrid from Brazil in the year 2018 for a significant fee and has scored triple figures in 335 appearances.
But his future in the Madrid is uncertain with rumors in lately suggesting that the club would consider permitting the player depart if they were to receive a good proposal.
When the winger was substituted on Sunday, TV coverage from network Dazn captured him stating: "Always me! I'm exiting the club! It's wiser if I go, I'm going."
In his latest message on the platform, the athlete said: "I promise to keep striving at all times for the welfare of the club, as I have acted since the very beginning."
